Description
This lightning talk will explore how the Wayland DRM Lease protocol, now integrated into GNOME, is unlocking various XR use cases by enabling direct access headsets and other devices. The presentation will highlight the practical benefits of the protocol and its role in advancing the XR use-case today, and will give an overview of the remaining challenges that are waiting to be solved.
