 in desktops and laptops for streaming video or\nparticipating in video con
 ferences. Thus\, USB is more or less the standard for\nconnecting a camera
  to a PC.\n\nLinux allows to turn hardware that has a USB device controlle
 r (UDC)\, for example the\nRapsberry Pi 4\, into a USB peripheral. The ker
 nel provides a number of \ndifferent USB gadgets to implement various USB 
 device classes. One of them is\nthe UVC (USB Video Class) gadget to implem
 ent an USB camera.\n\nHowever\, correctly configuring such a system and pa
 ssing a video stream to the\nUSB gadget is not that easy. Fortunately\, th
 e new uvcsink element allows you to\neasily stream an arbitrary GStreamer 
 video  pipelines into the UVC gadget and\,\nthus\, to any USB host system.
 \n\nMichael will show you how to prepare a system as a UVC gadget and stre
 am video\ndata to an UVC host using a simple GStreamer pipeline like "gst-
 launch-1.0\nvideotestsrc ! uvcsink". He will also give some insight into t
