 Linux might resort to swapping\, this includes GPU resources for unified m
 emory systems. Swap-in must happen before work is submitted to the HW and 
 currently it has to happen while holding some locks. Since this is an expe
 nsive operation this can lead other processes to effectively wait needless
 ly if they contend on that lock. In this talk I will discuss how we solved
  this problem downstream on the msm driver for the Steam Frame and hopeful
